A little

about me

Hi, I’m Katrina! As a designer, my work is driven by a relentless pursuit of user-centricity, and a commitment to creating lasting positive impact—through equity-focused UX/UI design. I am passionate about projects that help to foster a fair and inclusive digital landscape that users of all backgrounds and abilities can engage with and benefit from.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the pleasure of working on

a wide range of projects: from established websites for the provincial government—to first-of-their-kind, research-led projects serving patients and health care providers.

In both my personal and professional life I am dedicated to perpetual learning. I have an endless curiosity about the way things work, the “why” that underpins ideas, and the impact of holistic UX/UI solutions in our daily lives. When it comes to design, if there’s something I don’t know—be it a new tool or methodology, I am eager to learn and employ it within my practice.

Born and raised in British Columbia, and now Vancouver-based—whenever I’m not designing, you can find me outdoors, exploring the place I'm lucky to call home! I’m always excited by the prospect of new creative opportunities that challenge the status quo.
